TIME BLOCKING EXERCISE

Time blocking is a method of scheduling in which specific blocks of time are dedicated to specific tasks or activities. It is important because it helps to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and increase productivity. By allocating specific blocks of time for specific tasks, you can better focus on those tasks and avoid distractions and multitasking, which can decrease productivity.

Mindset shift: YOU get to schedule your success.

It's important to note that time blocking is not about limiting or constraining one's life, but rather about taking control of one's schedule and setting realistic goals.

The following time-blocking exercise will show you how to realistically set aside time to achieve success in all aspects of your life. You will not be able to follow your time block 100% of the time. Setting that expectation breeds failure and a lack of commitment to your time block.

Then why time block? Simply put, to level set with yourself regarding how much time your obligations consume and learn to realistically adjust your schedule day-to-day.
